engaged

for those of you who don't know, or don't talk to me on a semi-regular basis, this past sunday i asked TLK to marry me and she agreed that it was a great idea.
for those of you that need to know the details i will tell you, but you may want to check her blog, because i'm sure it will be much more detailed and/or romantical.
i made a puzzle that was basically a collage of pictures of us. on the back of each piece was a clue to the next piece of the puzzle as well as a task/gift. the first piece was planted at her door and led her to her old apartment. she was instructed to remember the time there and all of the changes that took place in her life and our relationship. next she went to anthropologie (her favorite store) and was given some money and told to buy anything that she wanted. after that she was sent to get a massage, and then to get her nails done. then she went home to get ready for dinner. i picked her up and on the way to dinner we stopped at kerry park, which is a little park that overlooks the sound and the city, which is where i proposed. then we went to dinner and the rest is history. (and yes, that is a picture of her ring)
now begins the task of planning a wedding in 4 months (we're getting hitched in nashville on october 26). let me just make the comment that this wedding shit is expensive, elope if at all possible.
