hitched
sorry ladies i'm taken. i hate to disappoint, but as of this past friday i am officially off of the market.
in case you don't know me, or you do know me and have been in a coma for a few months, i got married this friday. i must admit it was pretty amazing. i will post some pictures for you soon.
it's incredible to plan this huge thing and try to coordinate everything and then to actually see it go off without a hitch. i'm not trying to brag, but my wedding was pretty freaking beautiful. and my wife was smokin'.
i'll just post pictures to let you decide, but for now i'll regale you with a few of the wedding day mishaps that are bound to happen. the key is not to have a meltdown when they do.
the first came as i was walking up to my friend's house to pick up PHT (a groomsman). as i walked in i saw my friend KG holding PHT's pants and looking through the hole that he had just made in the ass. let's just say that the pants were a bit snug and when PHT went to tie his shoe they split from the crotch all the way up to the back waistline. this of course is hilarious. when it's your wedding it's also pretty scary because everyone is supposed to look nice and the same. they are definitely not supposed to have a giant hole in their pants. even though i needed to laugh for a while, i had to make an emergency call to j.crew and get some pants surgery done. they basically just re-sewed the seam and PHT wasn't allowed to sit or squat until after the ceremony.
the second mishap was also pants related. BAG (yes those are his initials), another groomsman showed up to the wedding and told me that his pants didn't fit. this of course came after repeated emails to my groomsmen telling them to get everything fitted and altered. anyway, BAG must have not gotten the memo and his pants literally would not button. the solution? belt them as tight as possible and zip them up. this of course is also hilarious.
fortunately none of these were disastrous and we all ended up having a pretty good laugh over the whole thing.
i'll get some pictures up ASAP--i think they'll tell you about the beauty of the nuptials much more than my words can.

The wedding was amazing, my friend!
By the way, a hilarious moment that you may not have known about occured when K. Snow spilled her wine on BC and PT. PT clearly had ass problems that day, because Snow splashed a perfect red circle right on his corn-hole. Genius!
