fired

as if i needed yet another blow to my ego.
today i got fired from my (<6 hour a week) job vacuuming leaves for rich people.
their assistant called to say that my w2 was messed up and that i should not come back to work. the apparent cause for this is that i did not communicate well the times that i would or would not be there. this is hilarious. the funniest thing is that i was not communicated with about my lack of communication.
not only have i never been fired before, but have never been fired from a job as lame as this one. seriously, i vacuumed leaves and picked up branches. they told me on a fairly regular basis that i was doing a good job and that i was much better at keeping the grounds clean than any of my predecessors. i was dumbfounded. i suppose i will have to find a new way to earn that extra $50 a week.
